How to Use a Website as a Network Marketing Tool: Part 3

XsitePro is an exceptional tool that you can use to create any kind of website you want to market your MLM business. 

Up to this point in this series of articles on "How to Use a Website as a Network Marketing Tool" to grow your MLM business we've discussed why you should learn to generate your own leads and become your own lead broker, and we've also taken a look at the two kinds of websites that you can use to accomplish your lead generation goals.

Now let's take a look at tools I believe will best help you become a lead generation master and a pro at managing those leads and maximizing your ability to enroll more people as customers and reps into your MLM business.

Here's a list of the tools you will need to get the job done:

  1. Website building software
  2. Keyword research tool(s)
  3. An autoresponder / follow-up system
  4. Audio generator
  5. A website hosting account
  6. Domain name(s)

Okay...I know what you're thinking.  "This stuff is going to cost me a fortune!"

No it won't.  But it will cost you something...just not as much as you think.  And besides, think how much money you'll save by not having to purchase expensive and ineffective leads from a lead broker.

When I was buying leads I was spending well over $200 a month and I wasn't succeeding in my business.  Now I spend a fraction of that every month and I use my profits to pay my business expenses.

So I guess the choice is yours.  You can stay dependent on your lead broker and chase family and friends until they hate being around you.  Or, you can learn to become independent in your business and sleep well at night knowing that when you wake up the next day there will be 5-10 new people who've requested more information from your website, downloaded your free report, or listened to your company's presentation right from your website.

I'm going to assume your choice is to become an independent network marketer.

The Tools: I Choose XsitePro

The first tool you need is website building software.

To be completely honest with you...you don't really need website building software to build a website, but it makes the task a lot easier.  Let me explain:

All web pages that you see on the Internet are built with a web coding language called HTML, which stands for hypertext markup language.

A basic webpage looks like this in HTML:

<html>
<head>
<title>      </title>
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

The stuff that goes between <body> and </body> is what you actually see on a webpage.

If you know how to write this HTML code you can create a whole website...and you can do it for free, without any website building software like XsitePro.

By the way, if you want to see the HTML code of any web page just go to the top of your web browser and click on "view".  Now scroll down to "source" and click.  A new window will pop up on the screen.  All that funny looking writing is the HTML code from the web page you were looking at.


Most people, even those who have mastered HTML, use website building software to build websites.  Why?  The software makes the job sooooo easy.

So, my guess is that you'll either want or need to use software to build your website(s).  Obviously, one program I use and recommend is the website building software called XsitePro.

Even though I think XsitePro is an amzing tool for you network marketing business it does have some drawbacks that you need to be aware of.

With XsitePro you're still going to need to sign up and pay for hosting.  This isn't a big problem as obtaining hosting is very easy.  However, there is a website creation solution I have used where getting hosting and a domain name, etc. is all taken care of.
