The following story has been repeated many times by those who have
become successful entrepreneurs.

Our story (Bob and Rachel Garmon) begins with opening a retail store in
1979, and being the sole owners, managers, sales clerks, marketing
agents, and cleaning staff for over 22 years. We had a successful
business, but after all was said and done, it had a life cycle like all
things; birth, growth, mid life, and closure.

We closed the store and moved to a very rural area where we tried to
duplicate our retail success by selling product on the internet.
However, overwhelming competition, low prices and difficulty in
marketing our web sites led us to look for alternative ways to create an
income.

Let's Try Network Marketing

We were then introduced to network marketing, and saw the value of
having an established business with products, a complete marketing plan,
and training to help us reach our financial goals.  All we had to do was
follow the system set out by the company. and we would have instant
success and financial prosperity.

Well, 2 networking companies and over $100,000 in debt later, we were
frustrated, disillusioned, and ready to quit.

That's when we met Jeff and he introduced us to a company that
specialized in training network marketers on the skills, strategies, and
methods used by successful entrepreneurs in the home based business
industry. This training deals with the “nuts and bolts” of network
marketing, which we were looking for. We had the talent, work ethic, and
desire for financial success, but not the skills needed to be efficient,
premier marketers. After analyzing what Jeff offered, we enrolled in his
company’s educational training and opportunity (an added benefit).

After the first class we knew that we had made the right decision. From
that first class on, our business has grown and more importantly we have
grown with respect to our marketing skills, our communication skills,
and our mind set needed to be successful.

As stated earlier, this is not a new story about achieving success. We
just had to travel the “ trail of tears” and not give up, to find the
answer we were looking for. All successful people have had to go through
trials and tribulations to become that successful person that they were
setting out to become.
